Aaron & Kelly have been with Envision France since 2021. Before that, Aaron filled his time with youth ministry, graphic design, and disciple-making while Kelly focused on public education, theater, and dance.
Married in 1998, they have one adult daughter (Kate) who lives in the U.S. and one school-age daughter (Charley) who lives with them in France.
Joshua and Caris will join Envision France in the Fall of 2025 begining with a year of language study before moving to Toulouse in 2026. They have backgrounds in Bible teaching, theater, dance, cross-cultural studies, and youth ministry (children and teens).
They were married in 2014 and have four children: Wesley, Joy, Emily, and Timothy.
There are more opportunities here than we can pursue, so we're looking for a few more people to join the Envision France team full-time. Maybe that's you!
The work includes supporting local Alliance churches, outreach, disciple-making, performing arts, community center ministry, campus ministry, developing partnerships with local believers, etc.
Most ministry takes place in Toulouse, the fourth largest city in France. With about a million inhabitants, including 150,000 university students, it’s a fascinating mix of old and new. It boasts Roman ruins, medieval churches, winding cobblestone streets, and countless small cafés. These are contrasted by Toulouse’s modern identity as the center of the European aerospace industry. People from around the world are drawn to this mix, creating a city of beautiful human diversity. However, France has abandoned the Christian faith and replaced it with secular humanism that leaves people searching for hope and purpose. Today, fewer than 3 percent of the people living here know Jesus.
The Alliance has a long history in France as a multi-ethnic union of churches. Twelve of the churches are French-speaking, nine are Asian, and three are English-speaking. They are mainly located in Paris and the Toulouse area. The city of Toulouse has thousands of beautiful church buildings, but the reality is, most of those churches sit empty. Less than 3% of the population of France knows Jesus as their personal Savior.
